Tim & Brittany's Hoboken Engagement Photography: Pier A, New Jersey
The weather seems to follow these two, but it worked out yet again in their favor. I met Tim & Brittany in Hoboken on the first really chilly fall day this season. Normally, the Hoboken pier would be full of people, but was instead quiet and empty for their engagement session, allowing them some privacy and a chance for us to get the best backdrops. These two stunned me with their awesome outfit options and we had a relaxing and full of laughter session. Even the taxi cab drivers were friendly and happy to help us during the shoot!
From Tim: Our proposal was the best disaster of my life. After watching the weather for 2 weeks straight, the day finally came and so did the rain; torrential rain! I had a plan to walk downtown to meet her parents for "dinner" and propose on the Hoboken waterfront under a gazebo; however that plan had to be changed due to weather. I made my own gazebo type structure in the backyard of our apartment with a huge tent and decorated it with Christmas lights and candles with the help of Britt's sister and my parents. Although I was stressed, I was never nervous as I knew I found the love of my life. To be honest the tent turned out better than the gazebo would have and we had privacy instead of being in the public eye. After she said "YES," we headed down to a local bar where all of our friends and family were there waiting for us. We had a huge party and celebrated all night.
From Brittany: We had plans to go out to dinner with my family for Mother's Day, so my sister came over early and we got ready. When I went to open the door, I saw rose petals in the hallway leading out to the backyard of our apartment. So confused, Tim walked me outside where there was a big white tent with candles, roses and pictures in it. It was raining and I didn't have any shoes on, but it was still the most romantic day of my life :)
