Caitlin & Tim's Light House at Chelsea Piers Wedding Photography: Manhattan, NYC
"It was an incredible day from start to finish. It’s an indescribable feeling being able to celebrate the happiest day of our lives with the people who mean the most to us. We’d say we would do it again, but truthfully we could not duplicate that feeling again. It was the happiest day of our lives."
Caitlin & Tim enjoyed an incredibly meaningful and heartwarming day for their summer wedding at the The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers in New York City. The day started early with an exchange of cards and gifts before beginning their wedding day. Tim was surprised with a beautiful watch to wear that day and Caitlin received a beautiful necklace. The two first saw each other in church where their ceremony was personal and officiated by their cousin. After their gorgeous ceremony, Caitlin and Tim jumped on their New York Trolley to ride to the high line for photos with their bridal party. They danced the night away to the band 45 Riots over looking the Hudson River.
THANK YOU ROMINA, SARAH, and MARIANA for MAKING THEIR DAY AMAZING.
The Proposal- How they met
We met through being introduced by two of our best friends, both of which I went to college with. The night we met we out to a bar in Hoboken and were engaged in conversation for 4-5 hours until Cait realized it was way past her bedtime. We hit it off from the start even though Cait tried to play hard to get for the first month.
The proposal was even better then I imagined. The deed was done on top of the One World Trade which were tickets I bought for Cait's birthday and it was completely unexpected on her end. It was a day full of surprises starting with the proposal, which led to dinner with both of our parents, and then a surprise with all of our closest friends at a bar in the city.
Lauren and I were in the middle of the last season of Breaking Bad when she told me that,"I should really come to Hoboken tonight because one of Sean's friend wants to meet me". It was hard for me to want to throw jeans on but decided I should go. Tim played it cool for a while when I got there until he started warming up. We went to a bar where we stood in the corner and talked forever. The whole time I was trying to figure out what was wrong with him, because there was no way this guy could be this perfect for me. I'm not sure about this whole play hard to get thing -- but I did make it sweat it out :)
