Sarah & Jordan's Holiday Valley Wedding Photography: Ellicottville, NY

Sarah & Jordan enjoyed an amazing traditional, elegant, and romantic wedding day at Holiday Valley Lodge in Ellicotville New York. Their love for skiing inspired them to have their wedding mountainside including chair lift rides and outdoor fire pits at the wedding. They began the day with a private first look on a lodge balcony before heading to their ceremony. The two tied the knot at nearby St Pauls Lutheran Church where they rode away in custom cars. A short downpour made their bridal party photos challenging, but everyone's amazing outlook kept the session positive and fun. Sarah and Jordan celebrated the night away with their closest friends and family.

The Proposal

His Version:

We met in school, we often skied together at the local ski area and I built up the courage to ask her to the winter ball in Spanish class. I proposed to her while on a ski trip in Stowe, VT. Skiing is one of our favorite hobbies that we share, so I thought it would make it special.

Her Version:

We grew up skiing together but never really became friends until Spanish class where Jordan started writing me Spanglish poems with an admiral attempt at rhyming. Eventually one of the poems was asking me to the coveted winter ball, which I of course accepted. A decade later when we were skiing in Stowe, Vermont Jordan proposed after the resort closed and it was quiet, snowing and super romantic. We got to spend the rest of the week skiing and face-timing relatives and friends.
