Spring Central Park Engagement Session: Central Park, NYC
With the light just beginning to creep over Central Park, I met Blaine and Steven early Sunday morning for their engagement session in hopes of finding the elusive cherry blossoms in bloom. After a session reschedule due to weather and no sign of Spring in the air, this morning was the perfect overcast, warm, and cherry blossom filled day. Blaine and Steven live not far from the park and enjoy spending their time there so Central Park was a perfect location for their session. We explored the park and chatted about their upcoming wedding day. You would never even know it was their first time in front of a camera together!
Our first date was supposed to be a nice intimate bar, however, when I got there it turned out to be extremely noisy (to the point where we couldn’t even hear each other)! Half way through the date, I realized that nice intimate bar we were supposed to be at was actually downstairs from where we were (whoops). At the end of the date I wasn’t sure if I’d ever see her again (even though I wanted to). A few days later I texted her asking her to dinner and the rest is history. Three years after our first vacation together, I took her back to that very spot, got down on one knee, told her that I loved her (among other things) and asked her to marry me. She said yes!!!
Our first date was at a noisy bar where we both weren’t sure how we felt. A few days later he asked me to dinner and we were inseparable ever since. We went to fire island together that first summer, and little did I know that’s where he would propose three years later.
